Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and authentication details (including via Google Sign-In).
• Health & fitness metrics: body stats (height, weight, activity level), fitness goals, logged meals, macro and calorie targets, and activity/exercise logs you record.
• Meal photos: photos you take to scan a meal for nutrition analysis.
• Gym data (if applicable): membership status, package, and attendance check-in timestamps, if you or your gym uses FitbasixAI Gym.
• Usage data: basic app usage such as feature interactions and quota usage, used to operate free/paid plan limits.

2. How meal photos are handled

When you scan a meal, the photo is sent securely to our AI provider for analysis and the resulting nutrition data (calories, protein, carbs, fat) is returned to your device. The photo itself is processed in memory and discarded — it is not stored on our servers or in our databaseonce analysis is complete. Only the resulting nutrition data you choose to save is stored against your account.

3. Third parties we use

• Firebase (Google): authentication, database storage for your account and logged data, and profile photo storage.
• Groq: AI inference provider used to analyze meal photos and power the AI health coach chat. Meal photos sent to Groq for analysis are not retained by us after the response is returned.
• Razorpay: payment processing for Pro subscription upgrades. We do not store your card or payment details.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to provide core app functionality (nutrition tracking, activity logging, AI chat, gym attendance where applicable), to enforce plan quotas, to communicate with you about your account, and to improve the accuracy of our AI models over time using aggregated, de-identified patterns where possible.

5. Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@fitbasix.com. We will delete your account data, including logged meals, activity history, and profile information, within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data security

Your data is stored using Firebase's infrastructure with industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

FitbasixAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
